A US man was arrested for making a cup of tea naked.
Eric Williamson, 29, went into his kitchen in the nude to make a morning cup of coffee when a passer-by spotted him through the window.
At 5.30am a passer-by in Springfield, Virginia, who was with a seven-year-old boy, telephoned police to report him.
The driver claimed he was home alone at the time.
He explained: “Yes, I wasn’t wearing any clothes but I was alone, in my own home and just got out of bed. It was dark and I had no idea anyone was outside looking in at me.”
A police spokesman said they arrested him because they believed he wanted to be seen naked.
He faces up to a year in jail and a $2,000 fine, if convicted.
